Beyoncé and Jay-Z just dropped a surprise album together last Saturday titled Everything Is Love. It features nine tracks, which is exclusively available on Tidal – the streaming music platform of Jay-Z. The mega couple called themselves The Carters.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z are currently on a world tour. During their live performance in London last Saturday night, the couple announced the surprise album to their fans. Beyoncé said they had prepared “something special” for the crowd.
“We want you guys to be the first to experience this new project,” she announced.
The pair then walked offstage, and the music video for the feature track “APESHIT” was played on the big screen.
The video was directed by Ricky Saiz. It was filmed last month at the Louvre museum in Paris. The music video features the couple dressed in coordinated pink and blue suits standing in front of Leonardo da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa,” and also wearing all white in front of the “Winged Victory of Samothrace” sculpture.
As soon as the video was over, the words “ALBUM OUT NOW” appeared.
Everything Is Love makes the marriage of the couple into a spectacle…
The basis of “Everything Is Love” is about sorrow, fury, self-doubt, and atonement – which are now all over.
The couple got married in 2008, and they both have successful individual careers. However, rumors began on a 2014 arena tour wherein Jay-Z’s infidelity appeared to be confirmed by two separate confessional albums – Beyoncé’s “Lemonade,” and Jay-Z’s “4:44.”
With their new album as The Carters, the couple celebrates their success on every front: historic, erotic, financial, artistic, and marital.
Fans seemed to be also ecstatic with Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s Everything Is Love
